The DOBOT SafeSkin for the CR series collaborative robot can feel obstacles within 15 cm, effectively performing non-contact collision detection. The technology is contactless and safe. According to the TS15066, the collision detection function of the traditional collaborative robotic arm can only ensure the safety of human-computer collaboration when it moves below 250 mm/s. In the case of assembling the DOBOT SafeSkin, the CR robotic arm can guarantee the safety of human-robot collaboration within 1m/s speed, effectively increasing the safe speed from 0.25m/s to 1m/s, taking into account safety and efficiency.
